The King's Academy Lions and the Lee Academy Cavaliers will face off at 8:00 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. King's Academy is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home.
King's Academy suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Friday. They suffered a tough 75-50 loss at the hands of Dillon Christian. King's Academy has not had much luck with Dillon Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, Lee Academy rang in the new year with a 60-51 win over Clarendon Hall on January 5th. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lee Academy.
King's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Lee Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
Things could have been worse for King's Academy, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 51-36 loss to Lee Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Can King's Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
