Adding to the longest winning streak in 4A Region 1 this week, Prairie Grove beat Berryville 35-12. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Tigers.
Farmington and Gravette played the most contested game in the league this week, with Farmington eventually emerging with a 27-22 victory. Justice Hobbs ran for 173 yards during the win.
The Cardinals' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Keaton Austin threw for 79 and 2 touchdowns and Evan O'Dell had 44 yards receiving. On the ground Hobbs chipped in 173 yards. Chas Turner helped Farmington's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 13 yards.

Hobbs provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Mike Adams' team defeated Gravette. Hobbs' key target this week was O'Dell, who caught 3 passes for 44 yards.
Zac Yocum was a key player and the best on defense this week as the Cardinals beat Bill Harrelson's team. He recorded 1 fumble and grabbed 1 sack.
Gentry's Jarod Cousins and Stone Faulkenberry led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback Cousins has thrown for 911 yards this season, while Faulkenberry has 17 catches for 370 yards. The Lions' Cedric Duarte leads the league in rushing yards with 851.
One of 4A Region 1's premier quarterbacks will go head-to-head with its top pass rusher when the Pioneers and the Bobcats face off next week.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Prairie Grove takes on Pea Ridge. As it stands, Danny Abshier's team is in first, while the Blackhawks are in fifth.
