Make it ten blowout wins for the Brewster Bears this season. They were the clear victor by a 70-45 margin over Lake Roosevelt. The win was nothing new for Brewster as they're now sitting on five straight.
Grace Becker was her usual excellent self, scoring four points along with 57 rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Pepper Boesel, who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Brewster pushed their record up to 12-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.5 points per game. As for Lake Roosevelt, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brewster the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Liberty Bell at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. Liberty Bell will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 224th, while Brewster is ranked 47th). As for Lake Roosevelt, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Manson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
