The Ontario Warriors will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Fredericktown Freddies at 6:00 p.m. Ontario is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
On Saturday, things could have been worse for Ontario, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-41 loss to Clear Fork. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ontario in their matchups with Clear Fork: they've now lost five in a row.
Meanwhile, Fredericktown beat East Knox 32-25 on Friday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fredericktown to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cally Carpenter, who scored 19 points along with two steals. Carpenter hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Mya Bryant, who scored two points along with 12 rebounds and five blocks.
Ontario bumped their record down to 5-9 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Fredericktown, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
Ontario strolled past Fredericktown in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 by a score of 61-43. Does Ontario have another victory up their sleeve, or will Fredericktown turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
