The Hanks Knights can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They claimed a resounding 57-27 victory over Del Valle on the road. Winning may never get old, but Hanks sure is getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Hanks' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Anette Hernandez, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds. Hernandez hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 17 straight games. Nevaeh Moore was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Hanks is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season. As for Del Valle, their loss dropped their record down to 11-14.
Hanks will head out on the road to challenge Parkland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Parkland will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1381st, while Hanks is ranked 422nd). As for Del Valle, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bel Air at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
