The North Kissimmee Christian Lions will be playing at home against the Nazaret Christian Academy Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. North Kissimmee Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,317 points over their last 16 matchups.
Even though Christian Learning Academy scored an imposing 71 points on Tuesday, North Kissimmee Christian still came out on top. North Kissimmee Christian strolled past Christian Learning Academy with points to spare, taking the game 87-71. Given North Kissimmee Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 321st, while Christian Learning Academy is ranked 696th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Izaiah Noel was his usual excellent self, shooting 6-for-8 from beyond the arc and dropping a double-double on 36 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Pourchons Morisseau, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Nazaret Christian Academy pushed their score all the way to 55 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 60-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Freedom.
North Kissimmee Christian pushed their record up to 21-5 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 83.9 points per game. As for Nazaret Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.
