TERRA Environmental's's game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They strolled past Varela with points to spare, taking the game 40-22. That result was just more of the same for these two, as TERRA Environmental also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
TERRA Environmental's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shannon Greene, who scored 14 points along with 9 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Greene has scored at least 25% of TERRA Environmental's points. Another player making a difference was Angie Barrios, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 10 steals.
TERRA Environmental now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Varela, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. TERRA Environmental won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Southwest at 3:30 p.m. on December 6th. As for Varela, they will stay at home for another game and welcome South Miami at 3:30 a.m. on December 7th.
