Ryder Anderson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Anderson was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Anderson is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.
In other batting news, Stuart Hall let Marshall Williamson and Alex Heinicke run wild. Williamson went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI, while Heinicke went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs Williamson has posted since back in May of 2024. Dominic Gutierrez was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, San Domenico came up short against University on Friday, falling 16-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
San Domenico saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Oliver Bennett, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Stuart Hall's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-0. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for San Domenico, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.
San Domenico's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Stuart Hall hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .394. It's a different story for San Domenico, though, as they've only averaged .224. Will they be able to contain Stuart Hall's hitters?
Stuart Hall took their win against San Domenico when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 17-0 score. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
