It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-36, which was the final score in Carolina Christian Cavaliers's tilt against Marlboro County on Friday. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Meanwhile, Dixie might have drawn first blood against Landrum last Friday, but it was Landrum who got the last laugh. Dixie found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 3-25 punch to the gut against Landrum.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better score. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
