As part of our 2021 high school football preview series, we zone in on the top wide receivers. We've looked at the
biggest games,
best quarterbacks and
running backs, and will tackle tight ends and offensive linemen to close out this week.
Ohio State has done a great job landing big-time receivers as there are two Buckeye commits featured, while others selected have interest in joining the four-time defending Big Ten champs. Six of the 10 receivers selected are still uncommitted.
Jaden Greathouse of Westlake (Austin, Texas) and Brandon Inniss of American Heritage (Plantation, Fla.) are the only non-seniors selected while the other eight players featured are from the Class of 2022.
The wideout class is headed by a Trinity League standout and the MaxPreps National Junior of the Year. Tetairoa McMillan of Servite (Anaheim, Calif.) has been making plays against some of the nation's best competition, while Travis Hunter of Collins Hill (Suwanee, Ga.) is a five-star talent who makes an impact not only at receiver but on the defensive end as well.
