They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Keystone 46-14 on the road. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point The Christian School at Castle Hills had established a 28 point advantage.
Leading The Christian School at Castle Hills to victory were Peyton Brown and Jordyn Russell. Brown scored nine points along with 13 rebounds and six blocks, while Russell scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. Brown is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kaylee Ouellette, who scored six points along with five rebounds and three steals.
The Christian School at Castle Hills is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-13 record this season. As for Keystone, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Christian School at Castle Hills on the road again on Tuesday and play against New Braunfels Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. New Braunfels Christian Academy is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. As for Keystone, they will head out on the road to challenge Founders Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Founders Classical Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Friday.
