Willis Jr Made His Presence Known in Bunker Hill's 35-21 Win
Starting off the list is Bunker Hill's Jason Willis Jr, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Willis Jr rushed for 230 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 95-yard run.
If history really does repeat itself, Willis Jr might just drop another big game when he faces off against East Burke on Friday. Willis Jr rushed for 155 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also picked up 34 receiving yards the last time he and the Cavaliers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Lincolnton's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Treylen Bost
Treylen Bost helped snap Lincolnton's five-game losing streak dating back to last season. Bost did his part (and then some), rushing for 165 yards, while also picking up 39 receiving yards and a touchdown for the 'W'.
Lincolnton's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. Bost and Lincolnton will head out on the road to square off against Bandys at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

On Wednesday, Lincolnton got the W thanks in part to Rashad Lynch playing the best football he has all season. Lynch threw for 109 yards and two touchdowns on only nine passes, and also rushed for 87 yards on only eight carries.
This year, Lynch has thrown 4 touchdowns while averaging 93.2 passing yards per game.
