Venture Academy entered their tilt with Aspire Langston Hughes Academy on Thursday with ten consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 11. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Titans a 15-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-1 last Wednesday.

David Mays was a standout: he scored two runs while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Omarion Walker, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Venture Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .679. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in four consecutive contests.
