If the Crestview Bulldogs were riding high off their 56-16 takedown of the Mosley Dolphins last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Crestview fell 40-31 to the Vikings on Tuesday. Crestview has not had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gracie Boydstun, who scored four points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Mayson Feller, who scored five points.
Crestview's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-12. As for Fort Walton Beach, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-8.
Crestview will square off against the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Navarre is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Fort Walton Beach, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. Milton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 234th, while the Vikings are ranked 57th).
