Model Secondary School for the Deaf not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 1, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Don Bosco Cristo Rey Wolfpack as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolfpack, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-9, 25-20.

Maiyalene Utley paced Model Secondary School for the Deaf's offense, picking up six kills. Utley got some help from Matilde Mansfield and her seven assists. Utley was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Model Secondary School for the Deaf now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Don Bosco Cristo Rey, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
