On Saturday, Northern Cheyenne Tribal came up short against Two Eagle River and fell 48-35. Northern Cheyenne Tribal has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Two Eagle River was led to victory by Dayani Piapot and Keke Tenas. Piapot scored 13 points along with 9 steals, while Tenas scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Piapot has scored at least 25% of Two Eagle River's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Myranda Trahan, who scored 6 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
Northern Cheyenne Tribal's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Two Eagle River, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
Northern Cheyenne Tribal does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Two Eagle River will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Lincoln at 5:30 p.m. on December 15th. Hopefully Lincoln focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 on Tuesday.
