The Coastal Leadership Academy Archers couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 46-12 loss at the hands of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic on Tuesday. Coastal Leadership Academy has not had much luck with St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cody Phillips, who scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson DaGrossa, who scored 11 points along with 6 steals.
Coastal Leadership Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Coastal Leadership Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Southeastern Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on December 19th. As for St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic, they will be playing at home against Ragin Prep Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
