With a playoff game on the line, the Royal Knights rose to the challenge on Saturday. They blew past the Cougars, posting a 42-0 victory at home. The win was just business as usual for Royal, who after 12 games remain undefeated this season.
Leading Royal to victory were Lance Allred and Ethan Ellis. Allred rushed for 75 yards and three touchdowns, while Ellis rushed for 177 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries.
Royal pushed their record up to 12-0 with that win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 44.92 points. As for Seton Catholic, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-2.
Royal has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Lakeside at 3:00 p.m. on December 1st. Lakeside will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line. Seton Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
