The Ridgeland-Hardeeville Jaguars won the last time they faced the Edisto Cougars, and things went their way on Friday too. Ridgeland-Hardeeville strolled past Edisto with points to spare, taking the game 48-32. The win made it back-to-back wins for Ridgeland-Hardeeville.
It was another big night for Jaden Exley, who scored 21 points along with four steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Ridgeland-Hardeeville's points. Another player making a difference was Denasia Haynes, who scored eight points along with 14 rebounds and five steals.
The victory got Ridgeland-Hardeeville back to even at 6-6. As for Edisto, they bumped their record down to 5-9 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Woodland the next time they take the court. Ridgeland-Hardeeville will head out to face Woodland at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Edisto will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
