4A-2 Region II District 5 Top Player Performances of the Week
Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's  football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Taber Came Up Big in Krum's  47-33  Loss
 Starting off the list is Krum's  Ty Taber, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Taber threw for 358 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown.
 Taber is probably looking forward to his next game, a  road matchup against Sanger on Friday. When  Taber last faced the Indians  back in October of 2023, he threw for 140 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.

Lane Larson Makes It Two for Krum
 Keeping Taber company is  Lane Larson, a fellow Krum player. He picked up 159 receiving yards and a touchdown.

 On the year,  Jones  has averaged 15.2 total tackles per game  and for the season has 3 sacks. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season,  he had one  sack.

Jj Mikas Turns in Season-Best  Effort
 On Friday, Sanger had to settle for second even though  Jj Mikas put up the best numbers he has all season. Mikas wasn't messing around, picking up  two  sacks and making 11 total tackles. The  matchup was his fifth straight with five or   more total tackles dating back to last season.
 Sanger dropped their record down to 2-4 with the  loss, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Mikas and Sanger will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Van Alstyne  at 7:00  p.m.

Holden Bremer Delivers Electric  Performance Vs Sanger
 Rounding off our Top Five is  Holden Bremer of Caddo Mills. Bremer rushed for 69 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 37 receiving yards.
 On the year,  Bremer  has averaged 55.3 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season,  he was only averaging 28  receiving yards per game.
