McAllen Memorial extended their winning streak  to four  on Saturday, bumping them up to 26-7. They blew past the Sharyland Rattlers 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  3-1  back in August.
McAllen Memorial's offense was headlined by  Ellie Trevino and  Ana Davila, who picked up 12 kills apiece. They got some help from  Lylah Lopez-Castillo and her 19 assists.  Bree Garcia and  Juliet Trevino kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
As for Sharyland, their loss dropped their record down to 18-13. Rattlers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against McAllen Memorial since  Saturday.
 Despite the  defeat, Sharyland saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Paula Perez  had ten  digs and four  assists.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. McAllen Memorial is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Rowe  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sharyland will  square off against  rival McAllen  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
