Andrew Botner Dazzles in North Vermillion Win
Starting off the list is North Vermillion's Andrew Botner, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Botner rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season.
The win was the fourth in a row for North Vermillion, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. Botner's next contest is against Seeger on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Cian Moore was instrumental in extending Covington's winning streak to three on Friday. Moore turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 189 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 166 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Moore must have Attica's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Moore rushed for 303 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 55 receiving yards the last time he and the Red Ramblers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Eli Foxworthy Delivers Best Effort of Season
Fountain Central came up short on Friday despite Eli Foxworthy delivering his best game to date. Foxworthy rushed for 162 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 145 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. Fountain Central is 3-1 when Foxworthy posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 0-4 otherwise.
For the year, Foxworthy has thrown 10 touchdowns while averaging 99 passing yards per game.

Dallas Coleman Delivers Electric Performance Vs Seeger
Dallas Coleman's big game helped extend South Vermillion's winning streak to eight on Friday. Coleman was unstoppable, picking up 66 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 64 yards. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made ten total tackles.
Unfortunately for Seeger, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Coleman. When Coleman last faced the Patriots back in October of 2023, he rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 74 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Dominic Garzolini's big game helped extend South Vermillion's winning streak to eight on Friday. Garzolini was dynamite, throwing for 244 yards and six touchdowns. What's more, he also racked up nine rushing yards, the mosthe's had since back in September of 2023.
For the season, Garzolini has thrown 35 touchdowns (and and only 4 picks) while averaging 283.5 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he had 22 passing touchdowns.
