Volleyball Recap: Loveland Has No Trouble Against West Clermont

Loveland won the last time they faced West Clermont and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wolves. The game marked the Tigers' most dominant win of the season so far.

Josie Nichols paced Loveland's offense, picking up 15 kills. Nichols got some help from MaKenna Kirlin and her 29 assists. Nichols also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ella George, racking up two apiece.

Despite the loss, West Clermont still got an impressive performance from Kendall Hertel, who had 15 digs and one assist.

Loveland's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for West Clermont, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Loveland will square off against rival Walnut Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, West Clermont is set to challenge their familiar foe Lebanon at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
