 The team  relied heavily on  Julia Piekarski, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Andie Warner, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-2.
 San Dieguito Academy's victory  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 5-10. As for Canyon Crest Academy, their win bumped their record up to 3-16.
