Last Thursday, West Allis Central had to suffer through a rough 64-27 loss at the hands of the Panthers. While losing is never fun, West Allis Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 433rd, while the Panthers are ranked 210th).
Meanwhile, after a string of nine wins, Wisconsin Lutheran's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 61-52 to Wauwatosa East.
West Allis Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Wisconsin Lutheran, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-6.
West Allis Central was dealt a bruising 89-56 defeat at the hands of the Vikings in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Can West Allis Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
