They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 55-8 win over Bossier. The result was nothing new for North DeSoto, who have now won six contests by 26 points or more so far this season.
North DeSoto's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Luke Delafield, who threw for 232 yards and five touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes. Cole Cory was another key contributor, picking up 141 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
North DeSoto's victory was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-1. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-8 Bossier and 2-7 Minden (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 35.6% over those games). As for Bossier, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
North DeSoto will head out on the road to face off against Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northwood will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings (they are ranked 91st, while North DeSoto is ranked 27th). As for Bossier, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Huntington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
