On Friday, the Hamilton Braves kept a clean sheet against the Durham Trojans. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Trojans. That's another feather in the cap for Hamilton, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Jorge Cortes and
Mason Massa, who scored both of Hamilton's goals. The pair have combined for a total of six so far this season.
Hamilton's win bumped their record up to 6-12-2. As for Durham, they dropped their record down to 2-8-1 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Hamilton will challenge Maxwell at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Maxwell's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. Durham does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
