Fowlerville won the last time they faced East Lansing and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Gladiators put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp  13-5 win. The Gladiators might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by eight  runs or more this season.

 Rylee Gulledge tossed a big game,   striking out seven batters over  five innings while giving up  four earned runs off   three  hits. Those  seven  strikeouts gave  her a new career-high.
 On the hitting side, Fowlerville let  Tommi Kleinschmidt and  Avery Borg run wild. Kleinschmidt  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  double, while  Borg  went 2-for-5 with one  home run and two  RBI. That  triple was  Kleinschmidt's first of the season.  McKayla Fletcher was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
 Fowlerville  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .541. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  OBP total in three consecutive  games.
Fowlerville's record now sits at 4-6. As for East Lansing, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the  defeat, which was their seventh straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fowlerville will head out to  challenge Waverly  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for East Lansing, they will venture away from home to  take on DeWitt  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday.
