The timing is sure in Cedar Ridge's favor as the team sits on 14 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while South Granville has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Cedar Ridge won the last time they faced Seaforth and Sydnee Tapper did her part to make sure it happened again. The Fighting Red Wolves walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Hawks on Wednesday for which the team can thank Tapper, who had 21 digs and three assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.
Cedar Ridge was actually outscored in aggregate across those four sets (96-90), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 12-25, 25-23, 28-26, 25-22.
Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only South Granville walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Golden Demons on Saturday, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Vikings have posted since September 30, 2024.
South Granville took Fike into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-15, 25-22, 23-25, 15-9.
Cedar Ridge better keep an eye on Larah Preddy. She was instrumental in South Granville's win, getting 18 digs and 16 assists. That's the most assists Preddy has posted since back in August.
South Granville's victory bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Cedar Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 22-1.
