There's no place like home for Girard, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past the Cardinal Mooney Cardinals 3-0 on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won four in a row.

While Girard won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-11, 25-17.

Girard found their leader in sophomore Chloe Plant, who had three digs and three aces. Plant is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played. Keely Meszaros was another key player, getting six kills, three digs, and two aces.

Girard was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in three consecutive matches.
