Uriah Martines Drops League-Best  Effort  on Friday
 Starting off the list is Sweetwater's  Uriah Martines, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday  Martines rushed for 61 yards and two touchdowns. The  effort  marked the most  rushing yards  he has had since back in October of 2023.
 The  victory  got Sweetwater back to even at 3-3. Martines and Sweetwater are taking a road trip to  challenge Comanche  on Friday.

 While Breckenridge might've come up empty  on Friday,  Joseph Juneau wasn't going down without a fight. Juneau turned in nothing short of a gem, making seven total tackles (1.0 for loss).
 Breckenridge is  on  a  seven-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6. Juneau and Breckenridge will take on Jim Ned at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

 Winning always takes teamwork, but  on Friday  Alex Terrell stepped things up a notch to give Comanche the 'W'. Jim Ned had no answer to  Terrell  as he picked up 14 receiving yards.
 Comanche pushed their record up to 4-2 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home dating back to last season. Terrell and Comanche will play host again  on Friday to welcome Sweetwater, where kickoff is scheduled.

Cayden Davis Makes It Two for Comanche
 Keeping Terrell company is  Cayden Davis, a fellow Comanche player. He rushed for 95 yards, and also threw for 117 yards and a touchdown while completing 72.7% of his passes.
 On the year,  Davis  has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 121.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 3.5  rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 109  rushing yards.
