The Paxton Bobcats entered their tilt with the Destin Sharks with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Paxton walked away with a 47-35 win over Destin on Tuesday. That's two games straight that Paxton has won by exactly 12 points.
Paxton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Noah Morgan out in front who scored ten points along with nine rebounds and two steals. Morgan is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sawyer Adams, who scored 11 points.
Paxton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Destin, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paxton will challenge Geneva County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Geneva County has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 315 points over their last five matches. Destin will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Jay at 7:30 p.m. on January 25th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Jay is ranked 379th, while Destin is ranked 373rd).
