Chiefland came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took their game with ease, bagging a 67-33 win over the Dixie County Bears. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Chiefland's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nyasia Bivins led the charge by putting up 19 points along with seven boards and three steals. The matchup was Bivins' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Laila Ingram, who posted 17 points.

Chiefland has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. As for Dixie County, they dropped their record down to 5-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Chiefland is taking a road trip to take on Bronson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dixie County, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Branford at 6:00 p.m.
