Jamestown has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Friday. They will square off against the Clarence Red Devils at 6:30 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Jamestown had just enough and edged Mount St. Mary Academy out 42-39. The win was just what Jamestown needed coming off of a 86-36 defeat in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Clarence earned a 57-50 victory over Orchard Park on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Clarence.
Jamestown now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Clarence, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
Jamestown didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Clarence in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 82-77 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jamestown since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
