Justyn Martinez Delivers Best Performance of Season
Vacaville Christian was led to victory by Justyn Martinez, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Martinez picked up four sacks and made six total tackles.
Vacaville Christian moved to 2-7 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak. Martinez and Vacaville Christian will head out to face off against Highlands at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Rio Vista Gets a Boost from Medders in 38-22 Victory
Emmett Medders was a major factor in Rio Vista's win over Golden Sierra on Friday. Medders did his part (and then some), rushing for 101 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, while also throwing for 78 yards and a touchdown for the 'W'.
Golden Sierra's probably not too fond of Medders given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Medders saw the Grizzlies), he rushed for 68 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also threw for 111 yards on only ten passes.

Henri Reed and Co. Win Fourth in a Row
Henri Reed's big game helped extend Lindhurst's winning streak to four on Friday. Reed was unstoppable, rushing for 134 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played.
Lindhurst's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-3. Reed and Lindhurst will take on Rio Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
