Carvers Bay got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaylon Gause out in front who scored seven points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaquan Hannah, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Calhoun Falls Charter has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Carvers Bay, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.
Calhoun Falls Charter will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Emerald on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Emerald's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Calhoun Falls Charter has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season. Carvers Bay and Latta will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Latta focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday.
