 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Aliyah Wever, who  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base.  Josie Williams was another key player,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  RBI.
 Model was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Nicholas County only posted a  batting average of  .200.
 The  victory  got Jackson County back to even at 11-11. As for Model, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record  this season.
 Everything went Jackson County's way against Model when the teams last played  back in April of 2024, as Jackson County made off with  a  10-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Generals since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
