Reid McCollum posted a new career-high in passing yards on Friday. He threw for 395 yards and one TD, and also punched in two rushing scores. He was up against Bethesda Academy and has quite the history against that squad, as he also had a great game the last time he faced them back in August of 2024.

McCollum and Hilton Head Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on John Paul II at 7:30 p.m. on the 12th. McCollum will face off against Alan Wolf, the Golden Warrriors' star quarterback. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
