There's no place like home for Whitney, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They breezed past the Davis Sr. Blue Devils to the tune of 40-7 on Thursday. Considering the Wildcats have won six games by more than 19 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Whitney found their leader in sophomore Lulu Im, who threw for 202 yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 43 yards. Those five passing touchdowns set a new season-high mark for Im.
The win snapped Whitney's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-4 record. As for Davis Sr., they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
