The Pace Vikings will venture away from home to take on the Rivera Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Pace will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Pace had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 17-run drubbing they dealt Donna North on Monday. Everything went Pace's way against Donna North as Pace made off with a 17-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won four matches by seven runs or more so far this season.
Not much got past Sophia Hernandez, who gave up just a hit to keep Donna North off the board. The dominant performance gave Hernandez a new career-low in hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Valeria Alvarado, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI. Another player making a difference was Anafernanda Perez, who went 1-for-2 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base.
Pace always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .783. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Rivera was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against Mercedes, falling 9-2.
Ariel Allen made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Dezaray Banda, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
Rivera has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. Pace's victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
Friday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Pace hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .392. However, it's not like Rivera struggles in that department as they've averaged .319. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
