Softball Recap: Willis Has No Trouble Against Caney Creek

Willis can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They blew past the Caney Creek Panthers 12-1. Considering the Wildkats have won ten matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Hadley Lebow was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. Lebow was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Bobbie Reddicks, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and three runs. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylee Gage, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Willis' victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Caney Creek, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-16.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Willis will host The Woodlands at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. We've got a battle between Panthers coming up. Liberty will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Caney Creek surely won't give up without a fight.
