The Brillion Lions can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They strolled past Algoma with points to spare, taking the game 53-36. The win was just what Brillion needed coming off of a 66-20 loss in their prior matchup.
Brillion's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Camden Hale, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Schuh, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds.
Brillion's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Algoma, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brillion will square off against Chilton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chilton will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Algoma, they will head out on the road to square off against Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home.
