Falkner was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They were a single  run away from ending the streak, but they lost  an   11-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the Thrasher Rebels. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out nine batters over  six innings while giving up  three earned  (and eight unearned) runs off   four  hits. She has been consistent  recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-4 with three  RBI and one  triple.
 In other batting news,  Emma Mauney was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-3 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple. That  triple was  her first of the season.  Ella Mauney was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Falkner's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Thrasher, their record now sits at 4-10.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Falkner will face off against Pine Grove at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 7.8  runs per game this season. As for Thrasher, they will square off against Baldwyn at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday.
