Cypress Ranch extended their winning streak  to four  on Saturday, bumping them up to 5-2. They came out on top against the Cypress Lakes Spartans by a score of  21-14. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Mustangs' considerable advantage  in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 168th, while the Spartans are ranked 439th).

Cypress Ranch found their leader in sophomore  Khristian White, who rushed for 135 yards and two  touchdowns. Those 135  rushing yards set a new season-high mark for  White.
 Cypress Ranch's defense made their presence known, laying out  Jimmy Alarcon four times. In that department,  Calvin Thomas was the leader with two sacks. He is  on a roll when it comes to  sacks, as he's  now  posted  at least one in each of the last three games he's  played.

Despite the final result, he rushed for 118 yards and one  score on only 11 carries, and also picked up 33 receiving yards. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 76 yards.
