The Mullins Auctioneers will challenge the Atlantic Collegiate Academy Armada at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Mullins comes in on three and Atlantic Collegiate Academy on nine.
Last Saturday, Mullins beat Marion 66-56.

02/07/25 vs Kingstree | 67% |
02/04/25 @ East Clarendon | 67% |
Mullins found their leader in sophomore Dakarai Worley, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Worley is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Deyon Ford, who posted 20 points in addition to six assists and five boards.
Mullins smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in four consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Atlantic Collegiate Academy was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past Kingstree 75-38. The Armada have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.
Mullins better keep an eye on Jamie Brooks. He was instrumental in Atlantic Collegiate Academy's win, putting up 24 points. Those 24 points gave Brooks a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Bellamy, who put up ten points.
Atlantic Collegiate Academy's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25 points. As for Mullins, their victory bumped their record up to 17-4.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Mullins and Atlantic Collegiate Academy are some of the highest-scoring teams around. Mullins hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 63.9 points per game. However, it's not like Atlantic Collegiate Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 65 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can put up more.
Mullins came out on top in a nail-biter against Atlantic Collegiate Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, sneaking past 66-64. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mullins since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
