Delta's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for New Castle, their record is now 3-7.
Delta took their victory against New Castle when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
