Edison was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Southern on Friday. The Wildcats blew past the Indians 41-8. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Edison now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Southern, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edison will take on Martins Ferry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Southern, they will venture away from home to challenge Wellsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Indians' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
