After soaring to 49  points the game before, Memphis University School was a bit more limited  in their  contest  on Friday. They had to suffer through a   42-3 loss at the hands of the Ensworth Tigers. The Owls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in September of 2023.
  Brady Hughes threw for 73 yards  on eight of 21 attempts.

 Memphis University School has  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record  this season. As for Ensworth, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the  win, which was their sixth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Memphis University School will stay at home for another  week and welcome Father Ryan at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Ensworth, they will welcome First Baptist Academy  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. First Baptist Academy will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  victory, something Ensworth surely won't give up without a fight.
