Make it 11 blowout wins for the Incline Highlanders this season. They put the hurt on Yerington with a sharp 69-45 win on Saturday. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Incline had established a 20 point advantage.
Tommy Williams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with eight assists. Another player making a difference was Colin Combs, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Incline and bumps their season record up to 18-4. As for Yerington, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-9.
Incline will head out on the road to face off against the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hug knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine games -- so hopefully the Highlanders like a good challenge. As for Yerington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Coral Academy of Science - Reno has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 16.
