Marion had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They never let the Randolph Ro-Hawks get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won seven contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Cambry Dojahn made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Furthermore, she didn't allow a single earned run, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and six RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Gianna Ricarte was excellent, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Alyson Robles was another key player, scoring two runs.

Marion always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .609. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matchups.

Marion's win bumped their record up to 11-4-3. As for Randolph, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Marion will host Cole at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Cole has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.94 runs per game on average), something Marion will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Randolph, they will face off against Poteet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Poteet has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.41 runs per game on average), something Randolph will no doubt try to take advantage of.
